Kebab maison 🥙

Ingredients
For 2 people
- 2 chicken breasts, deboned and skinned
- 1/2 tsp salt
- A bit of pepper
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 1/2 tbsp oregano
- Juice from 1/4 lemon
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 120g of greek-style soy yoghurt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Preparation
60 minutes
- Add all the ingredients of the marinade in a bowl and whip it all
- Add the chicken breasts, mix well, and put in the refrigerator for at least an hour (or up to 24 hours) so that the chicken sucks all the flavors.
- Then, pull out the chicken from the fridge and pre-heat the oven at 200C
- Use half an onion (use a large one otherwise it falls off) as base, and insert a stick vertically to use as skewer
- Place the base on a oven tray covered with baking paper
- Stick the chicken breasts cut into smaller pieces into the skewer. Rotate the pieces so that the pile is compact
- Put in the oven for 1 to 1.5 hrs, until the chicken is golden and crusty on the sides
- Cool down for 10-15 minutes before cutting the chicken
- Serve with pita bread, tzatziki, feta cheese and vegetables (e.g. aubergines, zucchinis, salad, tomatoes)
